A few years ago, I wanted to buy a pair of headphones. I was studying in China and searched on this online website called TAOBAO.
I looked for different headphones; I liked one Bose headphone and looked for distinct colors. Then, a few minutes later, I opened YouTube and saw an advertisement for a Bose Headphone. It was in a sale. And a few days later, I bought the recommended headphone, and it's still with me.
However, I couldn't understand what had happened. Was it just a miracle, or was something behind it? Finally, I started to look up and saw there were no magic tricks, cookies from my web history were the reason for this.
That was the starting point, and I grew interested in behind-the-scenes technology. Later I found out that the disciple is called Data Science. So, I looked for Liberal Art Colleges that offered Data Science. I chose to study Data Science at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa.
